Good afternoon, we trust that things are going well for you this third month of the year.  It has been a very busy time for us.  We have taken on new clients and have even had to release some clients.  This is the nature of being a freelance writing business and trainer.  We simply have to keep moving forward and trust that things will continue to get better. This is the third month of this new year and the time keeps moving.  When you decided to become more this year than you were last year did you also decide to manage the bumps in the road that would appear from nowhere?  This last month in the D.C. metro area we have had an excessive amount of snow, and ice.  This always leads to pot holes in the road.   At times you are driving along the same routes you usually take and out of nowhere you come across a large pot hole in the road.  It wasn't there last week so by the time you notice it your speed is too fast to adjust and you...

Learn to be aware of your point of attraction.  What have you been experiencing since this new year began?  Take notice of the things that are moving you forward towards your goals.  Notice whats keeping you stuck or not allowing you to grow. Learn to be swift to change your plan of action if what you are doing is not working.  This is your life experience and if you fear moving forward you have to do more personal development.  This is the key to positive change and growth. We started our current plan of action December 2013, by February 2014 we had to change the plan.  It just doesn't take that long to see where you are and where you want to be and the difference between the two places. Life is a game of chess not checkers.  I have often said this in my writings and trainings.  Last year I decided I would learn to play chess, and I wanted to teach my son.  I played checkers as a child often, but never knew anyone who could play chess or teach me.  Fast forward to 2013, I can go online and make an attempt to learn.  I played a few months and lost every single game.  Why??   Chess is a game of strategy, checkers is as well.  The difference is that there are only a few strategies that are necessary to win in checkers.  In chess there are an endless number of strategies.  There are 12 pieces for each player in checkers, each piece looks the same and moves the same. Today is a snow day.  We have about six inches outside here at DSWoodard.com  .  Its a great day to work and maintain focus everything even the Government is closed.    The wifi is working and so are we.   Now that you've created your 2014 goals, its time to focus on your plan of action to achieve them.  We have a tendency to want everything we want right now.  Technology has made this easier.  We are able to gain access to hundreds of millions of  ideas,information, people, goods and services instantly.   However, it will take some time to achieve your goals.  If you go at it with this in mind you will achieve your goals with greater ease and less stress.
