Summer 2020 Learning to Discipline your Disappointment

It's a couple of days before the Summer Solstice.  This creates two great events.  One the longest day of the year, and two the half way mark of the year end.
2020 has been an eye-opening year.  These last few months have been a major challenge for everyone in the world.  What we have come to believe as our normal life was flipped upside down and landed on a tilted angle like the Earth during the Solstice's.  No one I know saw this coming.  The question is and always has been, what are we going to do about it?
Why do we care what others think about us?  Other people's opinion of what you are doing is their problem.  I speak with many people who are living their lives to please others.  I deal with many people who judge the lives of others.  My creed is to mind my own business.

We individually have enough issues of our own to never concern ourselves with anyone else, yet we think that others are thinking about us, or doing something to make us act or react the way that we are, when the truth is we are creating our own experience in every moment.  Learn how to make your life experience the way you envision it should or could be as much as you can.  This takes work daily, personal and professional development.

Relationships are important in business.  To be successful we must interact with others.  How do you build bridges?  How do you steer clear of trouble?

Some relationships are necessary while others are not.  If you are building your business, it takes time to build your business reputation.  It is a challenge when you work for someone, because you don't get to choose those relationships, they are thrust upon you.  Many people are genuinely good, kind people.
There are however those who have a miserable existence or must make themselves feel superior by making you feel inferior, disliked or unwanted.  When you choose to develop yourself to the best you possible and tune out those who have a poor mind-set, you will thrive and become successful.  You must get past what everyone else is doing, talking about or accepting as their truth and know that you are here to do something great.

Now get to it, December 31, 2020 will be here before you know it.  Don't let another year leave without you achieving 1 of your major goals.  As one of my favorite mentors the late great Zig Ziglar said," Money isn't everything, but it's right up there with oxygen."

To your success,
D.S. Woodard

Are You Doing Too Much? How Do You Know? Push!

From my I-Phone  Greetings High Achievers!! It is the middle of the summer season.  It has been such a hot summer, yet I still find time to get out and walk daily.  The photo to the left is of a flock of geese crossing the lake that we walk across.  I wanted to share this for two reasons, one it's beautiful and two every photo on the internet costs money.  I understand that people like to get paid, but there was a time I could get quality photos with a few clicks.  Well what's been going on in your business world?   I have been building a few things as usual.  Many times I think I'm doing too much.  Often I think I'm not doing enough.  As soon as I think that one of my business partners decides that they want to be so active and push the business along for five minutes, and then I'm on my own again.  Have you had times of  discouragement in your business endeavors?  I'm sure we all have.  This past year I have fo...

You Have to Know When it's Time !

Hey High Achiever's.  I love you all and love sharing advice with you.  I have tried for more than a year to get Google to allow me to monetize this platform.  I'm not sure what I am not doing correctly, but I have shared for 15 years.  Unless I figure out the code, this channel will be shut down this year 2024.  I will give you the information to follow me on a new platform soon.  Thank you for your support.   To Your Success, D.S. How Do You Spell Love? Time !

Good Morning High Achievers!  The holiday season is here and spending time is so important especially now.  Happiness is an inside job.  The main reason for being great and creating a legacy is so that you leave great memories and traditions to pass from generation to generation.   This year my family and I began a new tradition for what others call Thanksgiving.  We haven't celebrated in a few years, since finding out that what we thought was the reason was not true, but we still continued to gather, now we have decided that what we would like to do is travel for this holiday, since the rest of society is closed at the same time.   As a business owner and a person who works in corporate America I've found that we can get so caught up in the everyday hustle and bustle routine that we forget to pause, relax and enjoy the fun parts in life.  We don't know how much time we have and it doesn't matter what our age is.  These are my gra...
