Where Did Summer Go?

It's September already, wow.  August was a long month, but it's in the rear view mirror of time.  We have experienced a few technical difficulties with last months post so let's begin September and keep the momentum going for a prosperous 2014.

September brings with it the end of summer and the beginning of the rewards of the seeds you have sown all year.  The goal is to continue on the path towards the goals that you have set for you and your families life.  If you made it through the first three seasons of winter, spring and summer and stayed diligent, fall brings you a harvest.  The main objective is to remain diligent, determined and focused as the harvest begins to come in.  Do not slow down or change what you have been doing.  You have a momentum that will work in your favor if you continue to strive as if it is winter and you have to live on the reserves until the next fall.

If you find that you have no harvest or only a small harvest you need to look at yourself in the mirror and ask the hard questions.  Are you doing everything that you can to achieve the success you say that you want?  Those who are successful are focused, determined, and are willing to make the sacrifices that are necessary to be, do, and have what they desire for themselves and their families.  You have your whole life to live and how you do it is up to you.  Are you developing your skills, your knowledge , and your abilities everyday?

As we say often, the holiday season is coming and is often a big distraction for most, but if you wish to be in the top 5% of income earners you have to fight for it.  If you are on track great, keep pressing.  If you are off track re-focus and decide that when 2014 ends this December 31st you and your family will be proud of this years harvest as you sip cider or champaign while singing "Auld Lang Syne."

To your success,

Are You Doing Too Much? How Do You Know? Push!

From my I-Phone  Greetings High Achievers!! It is the middle of the summer season.  It has been such a hot summer, yet I still find time to get out and walk daily.  The photo to the left is of a flock of geese crossing the lake that we walk across.  I wanted to share this for two reasons, one it's beautiful and two every photo on the internet costs money.  I understand that people like to get paid, but there was a time I could get quality photos with a few clicks.  Well what's been going on in your business world?   I have been building a few things as usual.  Many times I think I'm doing too much.  Often I think I'm not doing enough.  As soon as I think that one of my business partners decides that they want to be so active and push the business along for five minutes, and then I'm on my own again.  Have you had times of  discouragement in your business endeavors?  I'm sure we all have.  This past year I have fo...

You Have to Know When it's Time !

Hey High Achiever's.  I love you all and love sharing advice with you.  I have tried for more than a year to get Google to allow me to monetize this platform.  I'm not sure what I am not doing correctly, but I have shared for 15 years.  Unless I figure out the code, this channel will be shut down this year 2024.  I will give you the information to follow me on a new platform soon.  Thank you for your support.   To Your Success, D.S. How Do You Spell Love? Time !

Good Morning High Achievers!  The holiday season is here and spending time is so important especially now.  Happiness is an inside job.  The main reason for being great and creating a legacy is so that you leave great memories and traditions to pass from generation to generation.   This year my family and I began a new tradition for what others call Thanksgiving.  We haven't celebrated in a few years, since finding out that what we thought was the reason was not true, but we still continued to gather, now we have decided that what we would like to do is travel for this holiday, since the rest of society is closed at the same time.   As a business owner and a person who works in corporate America I've found that we can get so caught up in the everyday hustle and bustle routine that we forget to pause, relax and enjoy the fun parts in life.  We don't know how much time we have and it doesn't matter what our age is.  These are my gra...
