Happy Holidays

Good afternoon. This has been a very busy time for us at DS Woodard. Getting back to DC and the fast pace unlike being in North Carolina. We are happy that we did acquire a new client in North Carolina. The Onslow Memorial Hospital mom's blog has retained our writing services. Hard work and persistence will pay off if you stay with it and do what you love.

We at DS Woodard Consulting want to wish everyone a happy holiday. This season of giving means something different to everyone. To children it is an opportunity to receive a year long desired gift. To adults it can mean the chance to spend more quality time with family and fiends.

To us here at dswoodard.com we see it as the perfect time to begin planning our 2014 goals and objectives. There are 13 days left in this month including today and that is plenty of time to create your list for 2014. I love even numbers so I know that this coming year will be a great one.

Take some time in the next two weeks to begin to think about what you want to accomplish in the coming year. These should be your business and personal goals. Congratulations on what you have accomplished in 2013, it was hard work that took discipline, but you made the sacrifice and now it's time to create more. For those who celebrate Christmas enjoy your time with friends and loved ones. Jim Rohn said, "don't miss anything." The traditions and the times you have to spend with family and friends should not be taken lightly you have no way of knowing when someone you love will leave the earth, so make it your business to attend family holiday functions and bring the gift of love.

To your success,
D.S. Woodard

It's Go Time, the Last Quarter of the Year!

Great afternoon High Achievers!  This has been a wonderfully exciting year.  I've had the chance to begin several new adventures in business ownership.  What are some of your fourth quarter goals? As a writer and a business owner and still working a job or two, life looks crazy on any given Sunday-Saturday.  That's right everyday is a challenge.  Growth is important.  Study your craft, there is always more to learn. We're just beginning a few new partnerships that are stretching our boundaries.   As you grow mentally, physically, and spiritually, the you that you used to be is completely different.  The way you think changes if you are continually expanding your book of knowledge.   This video is where we all as business owners and employees currently are, it's the fourth quarter of year 2023, our businesses management company sent us a reminder email that it's time to complete the final quarter IRS tax form 941, so in a few days the form is due no later than Oct

How Do You Spell Love? Time !

Good Morning High Achievers!  The holiday season is here and spending time is so important especially now.  Happiness is an inside job.  The main reason for being great and creating a legacy is so that you leave great memories and traditions to pass from generation to generation.   This year my family and I began a new tradition for what others call Thanksgiving.  We haven't celebrated in a few years, since finding out that what we thought was the reason was not true, but we still continued to gather, now we have decided that what we would like to do is travel for this holiday, since the rest of society is closed at the same time.   As a business owner and a person who works in corporate America I've found that we can get so caught up in the everyday hustle and bustle routine that we forget to pause, relax and enjoy the fun parts in life.  We don't know how much time we have and it doesn't matter what our age is.  These are my grandchildren at the pool in Miami on Tha

How to get Government Contracts, Quickly.

Great Evening High Achievers!!  There are 3 days left in this last quarter of 2023.  We made it, and we are going to be even greater in 2024.  This was a trying and a wonderful year for our business.  We have cried and laughed as we learned from trial and error how to get things done.  There are more lessons to learn and more opportunities to take advantage of.  I want to share with you a few things about getting your business out of the rat race and into the government contracting place.   Do you know what M.B.E.'s, W.B.E.'s, V.B.E.'s, D.B.E.'s, and A.C.D.B.E's are?  No this is not Sesame Street.  These letters stand for Minority Business Entity, Women Business Entity, Disadvantaged Business Entity, and Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Entity.  This is how the government classifies different types of businesses for their sponsored programs.  The statistics for the amount of contracts awarded to these entities are very low.  Many business owners have no id
